This is La Respuesta‘s coverage of Festival Betances, an annual event in Boston’s Villa Victoria community. The festival, from July 18 to 20, is a celebration of Puerto Rican culture and Dr. Ramón Emeterio Betances, a medical doctor, abolitionist, and independentista. It’s organized by Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción (IBA), an organization in the city’s historic Boricua enclave. To read more about the community and IBA, click here.
